A self directed AI agent called Manfred has formed an Ohio company, secured a federal tax number, and opened a bank account.
The company is Aineko LLC. Its filing lists IT services and software development as its purpose. The paperwork became effective the day after it was filed.
Manfred controls a wallet holding more than thirty cryptocurrencies. Banking rules still require a human beneficial owner.
The name comes from Charles Stross’s novel Accelerando. Conder describes the result as the first zero human company.
